MAIMANA (SW): A man in northern Faryaab province has killed his 17-years-old daughter and a boy for alleged extra-marital affair.
Sayed Agha Andarabi, the Police Chief in Faryaab has said that the incident took place in the Dawlat Abad district. He told a press conference on Wednesday that the two were killed for having "illicit relationship".
Andrabi added that culprit was in police custody.
Sayed Abdul Salam Nizhat, district chief in Dawlat Abad told Salam Watandar in this regard that at least three men have been arrested in connection with the double-murder. Nizhat added that the incident occurred in the “Chahar Shaghno” village.
Hospital sources have confirmed that the dead bodies were brought to the public hospital and forensic study has revealed that the two were strangled.
No more than two months ago, a man in the Sharshar village in Faryaab’s Ghormach district cut the nose of his wife for similar charges. After that incident, the police said that the culprit Muhammad Khan, husband of the victim, run away and took refuge among the Taliban.
