CHAGCHARAN (SW): A young married girl has been killed her brother in Ghor province for allegedly not being virgin.
According to the reports, the incident took place in the Oshan village of the Shahrak district. Reports suggest, the girl’s husband called his brother-in-law and told him that his sister is ‘not virgin’, and he should come to take his sister back home.
Upon hearing this, the victim’s brother went to pick his sister, and later killed her on the way to their home.
Ghulam Mustafa, the provincial police chief, has confirmed the incident. He added the man killed his sister for honor. The area where this incident took place is said to be under the influence of the Taliban.
