KABUL (SW) – Abdullah Abdullah, leader of the Stability and Partnership electoral team, on Thursday urged the election commissions not to allow anyone to commit fraud.<\/p>\n
Addressing a moot in Kabul, Abdullah said there is a ‘conspiracy’ hatched against his team and the national unity, but they are aware of the plot.<\/p>\n
Referring to the rival camp ‘State Builder’ by the incumbent President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani, Abdullah said all endeavors of the rival camp are ‘entrenched in lies’. <\/p>\n
Mohammad Karim Khalili, leader of the Islamic Unity Party, said at the conference that the preliminary results of the presidential election were not acceptable to the people at all and a government based on the ‘lies’ would not be accept. He stressed political parties would not allow the Election Complaints Commission to approve the results.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, the Coalition of Political Parties for Salvation of Afghanistan, told a separate meeting in Kabul today that the Election Complaints Commission should address electoral complaints in accordance with the law and the Electoral Code.<\/p>\n
It also called on the IEC to announce the final results of the presidential election as soon as possible.<\/p>\n
