They demanded the government to take this incident seriously and bring the perpetrators to justice.<\/p>\n<p>Member of the Ghor provincial council, Abdul Hameed Nateqi, also condemned the killing of Amiri. He urged the government to ensure security of the citizens, particularly the human rights defenders.<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban abducted and beheaded Amiri after abducting him from the main Kabul &ndash; Ghor highway on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>According to Amiri&rsquo;s family members, he was not involved in any sorts of political activities, and was only striving for peoples&rsquo; rights. His uncle, Ahmad Hussain Danishyar, said Amiri was the sole bread earner for the whole family.
