In a statement, the council said the Wolesi Jirga (lower house) elections were marred with rigging and irregularities, and same is expected in the presidential polls.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Sediq Sediqui, spokesman for the President, has clarified holding fair and just elections remains a top priority for the government.
