He asserted the gains of the past 18 years need&nbsp;to be preserved.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking on the occasion, Idress Zaman, deputy minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the sixth round of talks between the U.S. and Taliban in Qatar failed to deliver tangible results. He called for the comprehensive role of Germany in the peace process.<\/p>\n<p>In a separate gathering, Faramarz Tamana, a presidential candidate, said release of the Taliban prisoners at a time of raging war indicates poor management of the security affairs.
