The agitators dubbed the Arg&rsquo;s (presidential palace) alleged interference in the electoral affairs as &lsquo;treason&rsquo;. They threatened the government and the international organizations would be face the peoples&rsquo; wrath if the allegedly continued to pressurize the Independent Election Complaint Commission.<\/p>\n<p>Two such protesting WJ candidates, Hassan Jan Dawlatzai and Siddiq Mansur Ansari, said the IECC&rsquo;s initial decision of declaring the Kabul votes as void should be upheld, and the officials responsible for irregularities should be referred to legal institutions.<\/p>\n<p>However, deputy spokesman for the IECC, Zabihullah Sadat, said the protesters should refer to legal institutions instead of taking to the streets that only cause troubles to the masses.<\/p>\n<p>The IECC has noted receiving up to 1000 complaints in connection with the WJ polls.
