SHEBERGHAN (SW): Faheema Sadat, member of the Wolesi Jirga (lower house) from Jawzjan, has said that the pro-Daesh militants’ activities are a grim danger to the northern parts of the country.<\/p>\n

She has said the militants are training children for suicide attacks. A number of residents of the province told Salam Watandar that the militants are not only training children for terrorist activities, but preaching and imposing so-called ‘Islamic Caliphate’ in the Darzab district. The locals said number of foreign terrorists, including women has been on the rise since past one month.<\/p>\n

Toran Ismael, chief of police in the district, said in this regard that the militants have completed training of a batch of 140 children. He added most of these children were below the age of 14.<\/p>\n

Mohammad Reza Ghafori, spokesman for the provincial governor, expressed similar concerns. He claimed soon a security operation would be launched in the restive areas.<\/p>\n

In a previous report, Salam Watandar had reported that French, Uzbekistani and even Iraqi militants have been seen providing training in this district.<\/p>\n
