{"id":86414,"date":"2017-11-08T06:17:23","date_gmt":"2017-11-08T06:17:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/ministry-of-finance-collects-135-billion-afns-from-national-income\/"},"modified":"2017-11-08T06:17:23","modified_gmt":"2017-11-08T06:17:23","slug":"ministry-of-finance-collects-135-billion-afns-from-national-income","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/ministry-of-finance-collects-135-billion-afns-from-national-income\/","title":{"rendered":"Ministry of Finance collects 135 billion AFNs from national income"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"257\" src=\"\/2017_Uploads\/2017\/November\/8\/afghanistan-finance-ministry.jpg\" width=\"600\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13px\">KABUL (SW): Officials at the Ministry of Finance said that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has set a target of 153 billion AFNs for collecting national income in the fiscal year 1396, and this ministry has been able to collect 135 billion AFN from domestic sources by the end of the eleventh month of the fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13px\">Ajmal Hamid Abdul Rahimzai, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, told Salam Watandar that collecting 135 billion AFNs from domestic revenues in the 11 months of this year is a fight against corruption, reform of the country&rsquo;s revenue sources and raising the staffing capacity of the customs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13px\">According to him, they will earn more money by the end of the fiscal year.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13px\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"368\" src=\"\/2017_Uploads\/2017\/November\/8\/110523102920_afghanistan_money_tax_304x171_getty_nocredit.jpg\" width=\"655\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13px\">Officials at the Ministry of Finance said most of the government&rsquo;s revenue comes from customs, accounting for more than 50 percent of the national income.
