KHOST CITY (SW): An inter-province football tournament dubbed as ‘One Voice One Slogan’ has kicked-off in Khost province.<\/p>\n

The first match between the Khost B and Uruzgan province teams ended in a draw. Both sides scored one goal each in this encounter.<\/p>\n

Abdul Fatah Wakman, interim chief for Khost Football Federation, told Salam Watandar that the tournament kicked-off on Wednesday. He said only one game was played on the first day, but two games would be played daily from now onwards.<\/p>\n

The six teams have been divided in two groups of three teams each. Kabul, Maidan Wardak and Paktya are placed in Group A while Group B has Khost, Khost B and Uruzgan provinces. The tournament would conclude in a week’s time in the Khost Football Stadium.<\/p>\n

The matches commence at 02:00 pm. On Thursday, Khost A played against Khost B while the second match was scheduled between Paktya and Maidan Wardak teams.<\/p>\n
