{"id":84810,"date":"2017-05-17T06:48:09","date_gmt":"2017-05-17T06:48:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/morrd-saves-1-5-billion-afghanis\/"},"modified":"2017-05-17T06:48:09","modified_gmt":"2017-05-17T06:48:09","slug":"morrd-saves-1-5-billion-afghanis","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/morrd-saves-1-5-billion-afghanis\/","title":{"rendered":"MoRRD saves 1.5 billion afghanis"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"335\" src=\"\/Uploads\/2017\/May\/17\/drani.jpg\" width=\"500\" \/><\/p>\n<p>KABUL (SW): Authorities at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MoRRD) have claimed that the Ministry has saved 1.5 billion afghanis in procurement in the past year.<\/p>\n<p>Nasir Ahmad Durrani, the Minister for the MoRRD, addressing a press conference here in Kabul on Wednesday said the sum is saved from 152 contracts for different departments. &ldquo;We are trying to cut down expenses from different sections. The Ministry has saved 600 thousand afghanis from digital landline phone&rdquo;, added Durrani.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister further said since the inception of the National Unity Government (NUG), no developmental project contracts are amended to increase the Ministry&rsquo;s budget, but two contracts were amended which has reimbursed 1 million dollars to the government from the contracting company.
