Ali Askar, Manager of the national team, told Salam Watandar the Afghan players residing in the country and other parts of the world would depart for Doha on March 15. He added the main objective of this friendly match is to prepare the team for its upcoming international fixture with Vietnam.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the qualifiers for the forthcoming 2019 Asian Football Championship, Afghanistan would play against Vietnam on March 28 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan.<\/p>\n<p>Afghanistan has only won one of its five previous international games while Vietnam has won three of its five latest international encounters.
