{"id":83998,"date":"2017-02-08T05:47:29","date_gmt":"2017-02-08T05:47:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/20-year-old-woman-gang-raped-in-takhar\/"},"modified":"2017-02-08T05:47:29","modified_gmt":"2017-02-08T05:47:29","slug":"20-year-old-woman-gang-raped-in-takhar","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/20-year-old-woman-gang-raped-in-takhar\/","title":{"rendered":"20-year-old woman gang raped in Takhar"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/Uploads\/2017\/feb\/8\/abuse (2).jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>TALUQAN (SW): A married woman has reportedly been gang raped in a remote village of Farkhar district of Takhar province.<\/p>\n<p>According to the 20-year-old woman, she got into contact with a man named Jamshed on mobile phone to find solace from her &lsquo;troubled married life&rsquo;. &ldquo;One day, I wanted to call my uncle when accidently I dialed a wrong number ending up talking to a stranger&rdquo; she said while explaining how it all started.<\/p>\n<p>She admitted building relationship with Jamshed, but charged him and his two friends Anwar and Haroon for repeatedly raping her. &ldquo;I was kept at a hiding, and drugged while repeatedly gang raped by them&rdquo;, she alleged. According to the testimony of the victim, she was eventually dropped near the vicinity of the provincial directorate of women affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Sanatullah Timur, provincial governor&rsquo;s spokesman, has confirmed the incident. He assured investigation has been launched by the authorities.
