{"id":83782,"date":"2017-01-15T07:38:04","date_gmt":"2017-01-15T07:38:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/insecurity-impedes-development-projects\/"},"modified":"2017-01-15T07:38:04","modified_gmt":"2017-01-15T07:38:04","slug":"insecurity-impedes-development-projects","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/insecurity-impedes-development-projects\/","title":{"rendered":"Insecurity impedes development projects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/Uploads\/2017\/jan\/15\/Mahmood Baligh.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>KABUL (SW): Authorities at the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW) have said many development projects have not been implemented due to insecurity in Kunduz and Helmand provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Mahmoud Baligh, acting minister of Public Works, told a presser here that many development projects could not be&nbsp;implemented even in relatively secure areas. &ldquo;The ministry has ample amount of development budget, but has not been able to execute projects&rdquo; said Baligh.<\/p>\n<p>He informed the MoPW has in sight uplift projects worth $ 520 million for this year.
