{"id":83268,"date":"2016-11-09T04:57:05","date_gmt":"2016-11-09T04:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/mec-unhappy-with-scope-of-activities-at-moph\/"},"modified":"2016-11-09T04:57:05","modified_gmt":"2016-11-09T04:57:05","slug":"mec-unhappy-with-scope-of-activities-at-moph","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/mec-unhappy-with-scope-of-activities-at-moph\/","title":{"rendered":"MEC unhappy with scope of activities at MoPH"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"402\" src=\"\/Uploads\/2016\/2016 Online\/11 Novomber\/9  Nov\/MoPH 1.JPG\" width=\"700\" \/><\/p>\n<p>KABUL (SW): Ahmad Yama Torabi, the commissioner for the Independent Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (MEC) has stated that the MEC is not satisfied with scope of anti-corruption activities at the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).<\/p>\n<p>He noted that MEC has closely monitored the scope of anti-corruption activities&nbsp;at the MoPH.&nbsp;Yama went on to say&nbsp;that though three months ago, the MoPH was mandated to draft its anti-corruption policy, but the ministry has not finalized it yet.<\/p>\n<p>In reply to the MEC&#39;s remarks, officials at the Ministry of Public Health, have stated that they would respond to it after going through the report published by the Independent Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Committee.<\/p>\n<p>The Independent Joint Anti-Corruption Monitoring and Evaluation Committee (MEC) independently monitors and evaluates national and international efforts to fight corruption in Afghanistan.
