The source added that these&nbsp;soldiers were first taken hostage by the militants&nbsp;and then killed.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Samim Khapulwak, the spokesperson for the governor in the province, has stated that as many as 8 soldiers have been killed and 16 others have been wounded in this incident. The spokesperson added that the wounded soldiers have been taken to the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n<p>In the mean time, the&nbsp;Taliban have released a press note saying that they have killed as many as 50 soldiers.
