Commenting on recent peace deal signed between Hizb-i-Islami and the Afghan government, Zaef said that the government&rsquo;s move for peace would encourage other insurgent groups to join the peace process as well.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Rangin Dadfar Spanta, the former National Security Advisor, said that Afghanistan&rsquo;s strategy for restoring peace has not been functional so far. Spanta added that permanent peace cannot be gained unless this dysfunctional strategy is changed.<\/p>\n<p>The former National Security Advisor sated that Pakistan is still a hideout for terrorists.
