{"id":83032,"date":"2016-10-14T07:35:25","date_gmt":"2016-10-14T07:35:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/ansf-reopen-kunduz-takhar-highway\/"},"modified":"2016-10-14T07:35:25","modified_gmt":"2016-10-14T07:35:25","slug":"ansf-reopen-kunduz-takhar-highway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/ansf-reopen-kunduz-takhar-highway\/","title":{"rendered":"ANSF reopen Kunduz-Takhar highway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"\/Uploads\/2016\/2016 Online\/10 October\/14 Oct\/high way.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>KUNDUZ (SW): Security officials in the northern province of Kunduz state that Afghan National Security Forces have reopened Kunduz-Takhar highway.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed Jaweed Niyazi, the spokesperson for Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) told Salam Watandar that in a joint operation with Afghan Security Forces, the ANCOP carried out an operation on Thursday to reopen the Kunduz-Takhar highway.<\/p>\n<p>Niyazi noted that Afghan National Security Forces have sustained heavy causalities on the insurgents. But there is not exact number of the causalities, he added.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson for Afghan National Civil Order Police noted that Afghan National Security Forces had no casualties in this operation. He further said that reconstruction on highway is underway.<\/p>\n<p>Following the fall of Kunduz to the Taliban, the Kunduz-Takhar highway was blocked by the insurgents.
