KABUL (SW): A number of political experts believe that some elements within the government purposefully seek to appoint or remove key government officials in particular from security and military organizations.<\/p>\n
On Thursday, Rahmatullah Nabil, Director of National Security Directorate (NDS), wrote on his facebook page about Pakistan’s lack of honesty towards Afghanistan following the President’s visit to Pakistan to attend the Heart of Asia-Istanbul Process (HAIP) Conference.<\/p>\n
He criticized the President’s optimistic approach at HAIP and resigned from his position.<\/p>\n
Although government’s leaders have several times promised to depoliticize security organizations but political experts think that some political powers within the government seek to purposefully control Afghanistan’ security organizations.<\/p>\n

Jawed Kohistani, a political expert, told Salam Watandar that the promises for depoliticizing security organizations are only slogans and they would not be implemented.<\/p>\n
He added that the political powers try to directly control security and military organizations in Afghanistan so that they could achieve their own objectives.<\/p>\n
Atiqullah Amarkheyl, a military expert, too said that the major reasons for appointing and removing some government officials is the “double structured government’ by the President and Chief Executive Officer was political affiliation.<\/p>\n
He also said that a number of officials in the security organizations work for the objectives of others to be realized in the country.<\/p>\n
These experts urged the government to put an end to politicizing the security organizations.<\/p>\n
