KABUL (SW): A number of civil society activists and singers conducted a street concert in the capital Kabul and named a road as “Tolerance for Peace” to spread the message of love on Thursday.<\/p>\n
These activists chanted slogans like “peace is not just a dream”, urged the government and people to work with each other to ensure peace in the country.<\/p>\n

Sami Darayee, a civil society activist, told Salam Watandar that they wanted to make people understand that peace was not just a dream through conducing such programs.<\/p>\n
He stressed that Aghanistan should make it clear in the forthcoming Heart of Istanbul Conference in Islamabad later this month that India and Pakistan should stop proxy fighting in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n
Abdul Karim Sadeqi, an official at the Kabul Municipality, said that brining peace without tolerance was impossible and such gathering would pave the way for tolerance.<\/p>\n

A number of parliamentarians also participated in the march. It is worth mentioning that that the road, which was named ( Tolerance for Peace Road) is located in front of Ministry of Higher Education in the Karta Char area of the city.<\/p>\n
