{"id":80892,"date":"2015-11-28T14:35:08","date_gmt":"2015-11-28T14:35:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/leadership-vacuum-at-hpc-reason-behind-stalled-peace-talks-pashayee\/"},"modified":"2015-11-28T14:35:08","modified_gmt":"2015-11-28T14:35:08","slug":"leadership-vacuum-at-hpc-reason-behind-stalled-peace-talks-pashayee","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/leadership-vacuum-at-hpc-reason-behind-stalled-peace-talks-pashayee\/","title":{"rendered":"Leadership vacuum at HPC reason behind stalled peace talks: Pashayee"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KABUL (SW): Following Salahuddin Rabani&rsquo;s appointment as the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Masoum Stanekzai&rsquo;s appointment as the Active Minister of Defense, a leadership vacuum has emerged in the High Peace Council.<\/p>\n<p>Abdul Khaliq Pashayee, one of the members at the HPC, told Salam Watandar absence of chairman at the High Peace Council has hindered peace talks with the Taliban.<\/p>\n<p>He said that disagreements between the Taliban have provided a good opportunity for peace talks but lack of a chairman at the council has created problems.
