The National Directorate of Security (NDS) has said in a statement that Lashkar-e-Tayaba&rsquo;s leader in Kunduz Haris has also been killed. The officials stated Taliban wished to attack the airport in Kunduz.<\/p>\n<p>The LeT commander is said to be native of Pakistan&rsquo;s Punjab province and was eliminated in an aerial strike last night around 9pm. The NDS also mentioned that Salam&rsquo;s death would leave direct impacts on the moral of the militants. The statement noted government forces would turn Kunduz into graveyard of the militants.<\/p>\n<p>The Taliban have denied the reports relating to Salam&rsquo;s death.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The militants attacked Kunduz on Tuesday, entered the provincial capital and captured a number of government installations.
