Syed Ahmad Shah, Head of AGO&rsquo;s Control and Monitoring Unit told journalists that many of their workers are faced with death threats.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;Despite grim situation in all 34 provinces, our staff is still doing their best to provide timely justice&rdquo;, he said. Ahmed Shah noted that more than 100 people associated with the AGO have been killed in the line of duty during the past 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>He mentioned the AGO has concluded 25 thousand cases this year alone. More 15, 000 inmates have either been pardoned or their stay in prison has been reduced.<\/p>\n<p>Noor Habib Jala, acting Attorney General said on the occasion that the AGO would review the actions taken in line with the comprehensive 100-day plan to expedite justice delivery.
