KABUL\/ KUNDUZ CITY (SW): Coordinated terrorist attacks in the capital Kabul and northern Kunduz province have claimed more than 80 lives in the past 36 hours, official confirmed on Sunday.<\/p>\n
Day after deadly coordinated attacks in the capital Kabul that saw more than 50 people dead, similar car bombing killed some 29 pro-government militia members in the Kunduz province.<\/p>\n
The incident took place late Saturday when a car laden with explosives targeted Commander Abdul Qadir, a local militia commander in Shorab area in the Khanabad district.<\/p>\n
Abdul Wudod Wahidi, Spokesman for Kunduz Governor told SW that the explosion killed 22 men including 4 militia commanders and wounded 7 others. Hayatullah Amiri, District Chief of Khanabad said that 3 civilians were also among the dead.<\/p>\n
Zabiullah Mujahid, Taliban Spokesman claimed responsibility for the attack in a message and said that the attack killed around 31 pro-government individuals.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) has confirmed over 50 civilians and security personnel have been killed and wounded during two separate attacks in the capital Kabul on Friday night.<\/p>\n
Yesterday, Kabul Police Academy in Afshar area and a military base of the collation forces in Qasaba area came under attack while a truck loaded with explosives exploded at the Shah Shaheed area in Kabul.<\/p>\n
