{"id":78368,"date":"2018-05-31T07:27:50","date_gmt":"2018-05-31T07:27:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/faryab-people-plan-for-a-national-uprising\/"},"modified":"2020-12-19T10:47:58","modified_gmt":"2020-12-19T10:47:58","slug":"faryab-people-plan-for-a-national-uprising","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/faryab-people-plan-for-a-national-uprising\/","title":{"rendered":"Faryab people plan for a national uprising"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"432\" src=\"\/2017_Uploads\/2018\/5- May\/31\/ff.jpg\" width=\"660\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px\">FARYAB (SW): Hundreds of Faryab residents today at a gathering called for the return of Abdul Rashid Dostum, the first vice president from exile.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px\">The protesters charged the central government of negligence in stabilizing security in Faryab and warned that if the government does not end its &ldquo;fascist&rdquo; policies and does not provide a ground for General Abdul Rashid Dostum&rsquo;s return from exile, they will stage an uprising against the government.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px\">Jamal Nasir Farahmand, a protester said that dozens of people are killed every day due to insecurity in Faryab, however, the government does not pay the least attention to this province.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px\">Another protestor, Kanishka Turkistani told Salam Watandar that without General Dostum, peace is impossible in Afghanistan, and the government must provide the ground for his return without any conditions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px\">The Directorate of National Security in Faryab issued a statement saying that the gathering was organized by the National Islamic Movement of Afghanistan, General Dostum&rsquo;s party.
