{"id":77990,"date":"2018-04-24T07:29:30","date_gmt":"2018-04-24T07:29:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/moew-awards-38-85-million-electricity-project-to-bayat-power-co\/"},"modified":"2020-12-19T10:42:45","modified_gmt":"2020-12-19T10:42:45","slug":"moew-awards-38-85-million-electricity-project-to-bayat-power-co","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/moew-awards-38-85-million-electricity-project-to-bayat-power-co\/","title":{"rendered":"MoEW awards $38.85 million electricity project to \u2018Bayat Power Co.\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"367\" src=\"\/2017_Uploads\/2018\/4- Apr\/24\/Ali Ahmad Osmani.jpg\" width=\"661\" \/><\/p>\n<p>KABUL (SW): &nbsp;Ministry of Energy and Water signed a contract awarding a 40-megawatt electricity project in Shiberghan, Jawzjan to &#39;Bayat Power Co.&#39; at a ceremony today in Kabul.<\/p>\n<p>Officials of the MoEW said the project costs $48.85 million and will provide electricity for 30,000 families in the provinces of Jawzjan, Balkh, Samangan and Faryab in addition to providing electricity for 100 medium-sized factories in these provinces.<\/p>\n<p>Ali Ahmad Osmani, Minister of Energy and Water said that the project is expected to be completed in 6 months.
