KABUL (SW): The first 4.6 tons of commercial goods will be airlifted to Almaty city of Kazakhstan tomorrow (Friday). <\/span>This will be the third air corridor after Delhi and Mumbai air corridors which exports Afghan commercial goods abroad.<\/p>\n Samir Rasa, public relations officer at the Senior Advisory Council for President for the Finance and Banking said that up to now, 70 flights from Kabul and Kandahar airports have exported nearly 2000 tons of the Afghan commercial goods to Delhi, and Mumbai.<\/p>\n According to him, the value of these commodities, including fresh fruits, dried fruits, handicrafts, and carpets, amounts to more than 30 million USD.<\/p>\n Rasa informed of the agreements which had been signed between the government and the private companies. Under these agreements, private companies in the north of the country will turn the gas energy into electricity which will be used in other provinces under the control of BRESHNA Electricity Company.<\/p>\n According to Rasa, on the basis of these agreements, Bayat Company will produce 40 megawatts and Ghazanfar will produce 50 megawatts of electricity.<\/p>\n Samir Rasa informed that the work on the 22-kilowatt power line, which is to be delivered from Arghandi power plant to Logar and Paktia provinces, has been 94 percent completed.<\/p>\n According to Rasa, one of the reasons for the load shedding in Kabul is the use of diesel power from Tarakheil power plants which produces 50 megawatts of electricity.
