{"id":77266,"date":"2018-02-07T07:24:50","date_gmt":"2018-02-07T07:24:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/swn.af\/lib\/turkey-to-build-university-for-women-in-afghanistan\/"},"modified":"2020-12-19T10:33:38","modified_gmt":"2020-12-19T10:33:38","slug":"turkey-to-build-university-for-women-in-afghanistan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/swn.af\/archive\/turkey-to-build-university-for-women-in-afghanistan\/","title":{"rendered":"Turkey to build university for women in Afghanistan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"491\" src=\"\/2017_Uploads\/2018\/2- Feb\/7\/interesting-facts-about-turkey.jpg\" width=\"736\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">KABUL (SW): Turkey will build the first international women&rsquo;s university in Afghanistan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">Arifa Paikar, spokesperson for the Ministry of Education, said today at a press conference in Kabul that the agreement to build the Sayed Jamaluddin Afghan University will be signed with the government of Turkey soon.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">This university will be built on a 92-acre of land in Kabul which will have the departments of medicine, social sciences and natural sciences.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">According to the MoE spokesperson, an online library will also be built at Kabul University over the next three months which will have the capacity to house 10 million books and magazines.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">The Afghan government also plans to build the third largest Islamic university in Afghanistan.
