According to the hospital officials, more than 50 percent of these patients were women.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">Istiqlal hospital is the only treatment center for burns in Kabul. Hospital officials told Salam Watandar that the burning incidents have been more in the winter compared to other seasons of the year.<\/p>\n<p data-keeper-edited=\"yes\" style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">Doctor Naseeb, head of Istiqlal hospital told Salam Watandar that oil and gas that have been used to heating up the houses have caused fires resulting in the burning of the person due to carelessness. <span style=\"margin:0px\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p data-keeper-edited=\"yes\" style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">According to Mr. Naseeb, suicide explosions have also increased the number of burned incidents along with the home heating appliances.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">Most of the burned patients who have been admitted to the Istiqlal hospital were burned when using fuel and gas to heating up homes or cook, or as a result of suicide explosions.<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" height=\"404\" src=\"\/2017_Uploads\/2018\/1- jan\/12\/\u0633\u0648\u062e\u062a\u0647\u200c\u06af\u06cc.jpg\" width=\"718\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin:0px 0px 13.33px; text-align:justify\">Nasrin, one of the patients told Salam Watandar that she was burned as a result of a gas explosion while cooking.
