BALI-KABUL (SW): Afghanistan 16 member women’s wheelchair basketball team wins international wheelchair tournament against Thailand in Bali, Indonesia.
Mirwais Bahawi, the deputy director of Afghanistan Physical Education and Sport, said the Afghan women’s wheelchair basketball team won the final match of the tournament with commitment and strive by 65 over 25 points.
The Afghan women’s team had beaten the Thailand team in their first match as well.
The International Women’s Wheelchair Tournament was hosted by Indonesia with the participation of Afghanistan, Iran, India, and Thailand, and host country Indonesia. Afghanistan women’s wheelchair basketball team won the 4th Bali cup international tournament.
Based on the information, this is the 4th time that Indonesia is hosting Asian Basketball Tournament in Bali.
