But, the Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi and Khodai Nazer Nasrat rejected all the allegations in the Tuesday’s session of the house.

Abdul Rauf Ibrahimi, the speaker of the house, stated that his residential house is paid under the 91 code by the government like any other high-ranking government official. He added that the issue is clear in the law and the Supreme Audit Office, audits every year. He justified that the issue is not something to remain unchecked.

Meanwhile, some members of the house stated that allegations of corruption on the house speaker jeopardize the position of the legislation.

Saleh Mohammad Saljoqy, a member of the house, said the allegations should be investigated.

The WJ at times brings up corruption allegations against the President and high-ranking government officials, but usually, the allegations fade off without further discussions.
