KABUL (SW) – The Wolesi Jirga (lower house) on Saturday criticized the security sector leadership over surging violence across the country.
In the general session today, the MPs claimed political and unprofessional appointments in the security sector has led to surge in violence in different parts of the country.
Speaker Mir Rehman Rehmani tasked the house’s security affairs committee to summon top security official for a briefing.
This comes amid escalating terrorist attacks in the capital Kabul and others parts of the country.
