BARCELONA-KABUL (SW): At least 13 people are killed and more than 100 injured as a result of a van hitting pedestrians in Las Ramblas Boulevard of Barcelona, Spain.
Spanish officials said that this is the initial details and that the number of people killed in the event may increase. According to them, the health situation of a number of wounded in the incident is critical.
Police have reported that two of the attackers have been arrested, one of the accused is from Morocco while and the other arrested person is from the Spanish region of the Moroccan border.
Although the attacker, who rammed the vehicle into the pedestrians late afternoon on Thursday is at large, Daesh (ISIL) has taken tresponsibilityble for the attack.
A number of countries and the United Nations have condemned the attack and described it as a terrorist attack.
