GHOR (SW): Khalil Ahmad Mubariz, head of Directorate of Education in Ghor said that among 4596 students who graduated from the high schools in 2017, only 1603 attended the Konkor test, of which 560 were girls.
Mubariz told Salam Watandar that this year fewer girls attended the Konkor exam than previous years.
According to Mubariz, insecurity, problems of transportation and economic hardship are the main reasons that most of the students were unable to attend the university entrance test this year.
Meanwhile, Ghulam Nasir Khazeh – the governor of Ghor, and Roozatullah – the head of Konkor organizing committee in Ghor informed that the Konkor exam held transparently without the interference of any powerful people in the course of the exam.
According to local authorities in Ghor, today (Friday), the civil service exam for the public sector positions was held in the province as well, and nearly 2500 people participated in the exam.
