JALALABAD (SW): A well-informed source informed Salam Watandar the U.S. airstrike in Haska Maina district in Nangarhar has killed 16 civilians last night.
It has been informed that the U.S. jet hit vehicles of civilians last night and killed 16 people.
Meanwhile, Hazrat Hussain, spokesman for the provincial police headquarters, has confirmed the strike. He said the jets targeted two cars in the Mia Je Baba area of the district, killng 8 Daesh militants and leaving five more injured. The spokesman acknowledged that civilians also sustained harm in this attack, but the scale of it is not clear yet.
The provincial government has also confirmed the incident, and has vowed to share details with the media after investigations.
