U-17 FIFA World Cup kicks off in India

KABUL (SW): The U-17 FIFA World Cup kicked off on Friday in India. The international governing body of football, FIFA said that the 17th U-17 World Cup started on Friday among 24 countries from 6 continents hosted by India which will continue for 22 days.

According to FIFA website, a total of 52 games will be played to decide the winner of the FIFA U-17 World Cup India 2017.

The U-17 FIFA World Cup is held every 2 years in one of the member countries. This year from Asia the national teams of Iraq, Iran, North Korea and Japan are participating while India will play as an honorary team.
