“Two travel agencies are accused of deceiving citizens”

17/01/2016

KABUL (SW): Officials at the Ministry of labor, Social Affairs, Martyr and Disabled (MLSAMD), informed of introducing two travel agencies who were accused of scum to the attorney general office.

Nasrin Oryakhil, Minister for MLSAMD, told a press conference yesterday (Sunday), that the two travel agencies Abn-el-Hoda and Hussain Khil, have taken  $ 500 to $ 1000 from the citizens and promised them to provide job opportunities for them outside the country.

Mrs. Oryakhil, said that these travel agencies misused and deceived hundreds of young citizens from Nengarhar, Herat, Baghlan, Badakhshan, Ghazni provinces and made a huge fortune for themselves.

Oryakhil also informed of dispatching 25,000 people to Saudi Arabia for employment in the near future.

According to her, Afghanistan has 7 million work forces out of which 15 percent are employed and 24 percent are unemployed.

SalamWatandar tried to reach the two travel agencies to comment on the issue but to no avail.

Lack of high quality education, unemployment and social challenges have forced people to take the risk and migrate abroad to pursue a better life.

Based on some UN’s reports, Afghanistan has witnessed a mass exodus of immigrants who leave their country and seek refuge abroad.
