KABUL (SW) – The ministers for the Ministry of Justice, and the Ministry of Counter-Narcotics on Monday survived the vote of confidence at the Wolesi Jirga (lower house).
Salam Azimi, minister for MoCN, and Abdul Baseer Anwar, MoJ, were summoned by the house in connection with the budget spending issues. Both are among a number of ministers criticized for not properly utilizing the development budget.
Abdul Baseer Anwar secured 67 votes in his favor and 58 votes against him while Salam Azimi secured 67 votes in her favor and 62 votes against her.
