KABUL (SW): At least two people have died and two others got injured in a U.S. airstrike in Qarabagh district of Kabul province.
Basir Mujahed, spokesman for police in Kabul, informed Salam Watandar the incident took place last night. He said some armed men shot fires in the air from a garden in the area last night, and later they were hit by the U.S. drone. The police spokesman said identity of these people is not known yet.
Meanwhile, a local elder Habib informed that the drone hit a gathering of locals in the Jarchi area who were there for an engagement party. He said the fires shot in the air were part of the celebrations.
The police spokesman said the Nato-led Resolute Support Mission (RSM) has also acknowledged the incident.
