WASHINGTON D.C. (SW) – U.S President, Donald Trump has reiterated his call to end the wars in Afghanistan and Syria.
In a series of tweets, he said the U.S spend $ 50 billion a year in Afghanistan. “…and (we) have hit them (Taliban) so hard that we are now talking peace after 18 long years Syria was loaded with ISIS until I came along. We will soon have destroyed 100% of the Caliphate, but will be watching them closely. It is now time to start coming home and, after many years, spending our money wisely. Certain people must get smart!
Few days back, the U.S President noted that negotiations are proceeding well in Afghanistan after 18 years of fighting. ‘Fighting continues but the people of Afghanistan want peace in this never ending war. We will soon see if talks will be successful?” he questioned.
