KABUL (SW): A trilateral meeting among Afghanistan, Pakistan and the NATO-led Resolute Support Mission (RSM) officials is scheduled to be held here on Tuesday to discuss ways and means to combat terrorism.
Gen. Habib Nuristani, the Operations Head at the Defense Ministry told Salam Watandar that the meeting has been held among the heads of operations from the respective ministries of defense from two countries, and officials from the Resolute Force.
Nuristani stated that the meeting would partly be concentrated on efforts to further enhance cooperation among Kabul, Islamabad and the Resolute Support Mission against the mutual threat of terrorism.
The participants would try to boost up cooperation and coordination, he added.
Afghanistan and Pakistan attend such meeting on regular basis but the bilateral ties have been tense lately.
