DAIKUNDI (SW) – A road accident in Daikundi province on Saturday caused at least 11 casualties, officials confirmed.
According to police headquarters, the accident took place in the Pishok Tangi area of the capital city, Nili. At least five people, including five women, got killed and six others got wounded in this accident.
Director transport at the police headquarters, Rehmatullah Ibrahimi, said recklessness on the part of the driver combined with the rough state of the road caused the tragedy.
He added victims of the accident have been transferred to nearby public hospital.
