JALALABAD (SW): Security forces in Nangarhar said a group of three would-be suicide attackers were arrested with a vehicle full of explosives.
According to security forces, these would-be suicide bombers placed about 100 kilograms of explosives in a gas balloon and 50 kilograms in other places in a car that were discovered and the three of them were arrested.
Gulab Mangal, governor of Nangarhar, said at a news conference that the attack was planned across the Durand line, which was fortunately identified by the security forces before reaching its target and a bloody attack was prevented.
According to Mr. Mangal, these would-be suicide attackers intended to target the crowded places inside the Jalalabad city.
Mr. Mangal added that the attack was planned by a person called Sajjad from Pakistan, but was arrested before reaching the target.
So far, no opposition has said anything regarding this.
