SHARANA (SW) – Unknwon armed assailants have attacked three schools in Paktika province, officials confirmed on Monday.
Mehrabuddin Shafaq, head of the directorate of education, told Salam Watandar the Hazrat Bilal high school, Syed Jalal Bukhari high school and Khuwaja Khail high school have been targeted with explosives and rockets late last night. He added, the attackers first tied the guards there, and later blew the schools with explosives and rockets.
The head of the directorate of education informed windows and doors of the schools have been damaged completely, however, no one got hurt in these attacks. This is the second time Syed Jalal Bukhari school has been targeted in Paktika province.
There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
