He assured that development programs will soon be launched and for the administration of these districts and well-educated youths will be recruited from the districts.
Abdul Ghani Noori, the chief of Zer Koh district, showing concern over the growing insecurity stated that unless a military operation is not launched in the district, security will not be restored in the area. “The Zer Koh district is the center for Taliban in the southwest zone of the country so much so that Pakistani Taliban are seen in the area. Even 4 to 5 Iranians are seen who support the Taliban”, claimed Noori.
Meanwhile, Kamran Alizayi, the head of the provincial council, warned that if security forces and equipment are not deployed to the new districts, the appointment of new chiefs will not yield security.
