KABUL (SW): A blast killed at least 36 persons and injured another 50 in police district 3 of Kabul in the early hours of Monday morning.
Najib Danish, the spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, confirming it as a suicide attack said that 24 persons are dead while another 42 people are injured.
The suicide attack took place near the residence of Mohammad Mohaqiq, second Vice President (VP) to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the country. Omid Maisam, a spokesman for the CEO office, has said that the suicide bomber had targeted the residence of the second VP for the CEO.
Witnesses from the scene of the suicide attack told Salam Watandar that many people were injured from shattered classes from the nearby buildings.
