KABUL (SW) – The U.S. forces in Afghanistan have conducted aerial raid on the Taliban’s propaganda Shariat radio in Ghazni province.
According to a statement issued by the army’s 203 – Thunder Corps, the air raid was conducted in the Khwaja Umari district last evening destroying the radio station. It is said this radio was operating from the Barkaat area of the district.
The Taliban have rejected this report.
Ghazni is one of the insecure provinces in the country with notable presence of the Taliban, who often stage deadly assaults.
