KABUL (SW): Zabiullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Taliban said the Taliban welcomes any action taken to end the current conflict.
Mohammad Ismail Khan, the former governor of Herat and one of the Jihadi leaders said a few days ago that if the Taliban are not ready to talk with the government over peace, they can talk with the Jihadi leaders instead.
Mujahid said that the Taliban respect the Jihadi leaders and has called on these leaders to support them in the Jihad.
According to Mujahid, now that Ismail Khan, on behalf of the Jihadi leaders, has called on Taliban for a peace talk, the Taliban ask them to reach out to their office to facilitate the peace talks.
The High Peace Council has also said that the Council welcomes any steps taken to bring peace to the country and end the war.
