IROZKOH (SW): The Taliban shot dead 2 of their own members along with a child in Yakhan-i-Ulya village of Tiwara district in Ghor province on Friday night.
Mohammad Iqbal Nizami, the provincial police spokesman, told Salam Watandar that the shooting was a result of inter-group disagreements. He added that the shot fighters were relatives of Mullah Ayub, a Taliban commander.
The Taliban have not commented on the issue yet.
Tiwara district fell to the Taliban almost 2 months ago. But, the security forces retook the district within 2 weeks. More than 2 thousand Taliban fighters were involved in the fall of the district.
