KUNDUZ (SW): Safiullah Amiri, deputy chairman of the Kunduz Provincial Council, has said the Taliban publicly lashed a boy and a girl in Jami Mosque in Chaqor Qishlaq area of district 8 in Kunduz for having a relationship over the telephone.
Each one was punished with 25 lashes. According to Amiri, the Taliban announced the event through the mosque’s loudspeakers and asked the people to be present and watch the event.
